The Waubun Transition Academy was approved for purchase in October 2017. Major renovations and updates were completed and the house officially opened Fall of 2018. The transition house is a short walk from our JSHS. The program also utilizes 2 district vans purchased to support the program.
Waubun Transition Academy is dedicated to providing a comprehensive and dynamic educational experience focused on the holistic development of our students. Our program is designed to prepare students for life beyond the classroom by emphasizing essential life skills, hands-on learning, real-life application, personalized learning, and goal setting within a safe and supportive environment.
