A shortened message follows:
Dear Warrior Parents and Guardians,
We have seen an increase in the number of students and staff experiencing symptoms of Norovirus, commonly known as the "stomach flu." To keep our school community healthy, we want to share some critical information about Norovirus prevention and our updated health guidelines.
To align with Fond du Lac and Dodge County Health Department recommendations to curb this increase in cases, the Waupun Area School District (WASD) requests students who have experienced these symptoms to be free of vomiting and diarrhea for 48 hours before returning to school.
We appreciate your cooperation in helping to prevent the spread of Norovirus and keep our school community healthy. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact the school nurse.
